With work on the new E.P almost done the band are venturing out for an early show on Saturday June 26. Supporting Moroccan Kings and Sheriff, Winterun will be on first at the Public Bar (opposite Queen Vic market on Victoria St). They’ll be playing through the new recording and letting loose more new tracks as well as a few old favourites. See ya there!

Which is exactly what you’ll get on Saturday March 27 at Revolver Upstairs as the band plays their only show for the first half of 2010. With a freshly recorded E.P under production, the band will be wheeling out all new jams featuring blistering harmonica solos from new 5th winterunner, Aaron Gillet. Support on the night will be the fuzzed-out, rock rampage that is Free to Run as well as two-piece blues explosion Two Shot. Been looking for some heavy music you can groove to? This is it! After a summer hibernation, Winterun take to the high seas of the riff again in 2010! The band are set to record a new EP in March with a string of shows to follow. More will be announced in the coming weeks as the Winterun machine fires back up for a big year. See you all soon!
